LOVE THAT COVERS THE WORLD
VERSE
LUKE 2:13-14
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
EPHESIANS 3:17-19
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

When the sky filled with angels, their message wasn’t small. It was global. Eternal.
“Peace on earth… goodwill to all.”
The love of God announced that night did not come for one nation or one type of person - it came for the entire world. The love of Jesus reaches across cultures, languages, ages, backgrounds, and generations. It is wide enough to embrace the broken and deep enough to heal the wounded. God’s love is not limited.
It is not narrow.
It is not fragile.
It is strong, wide, deep, and unstoppable.
And yet - it is also intimate.
The God whose love holds the universe is the same God who holds your heart. Love came to the world… and also came to you. Before the celebration of Christmas morning, Advent invites you to pause and take this in: You are loved with a love that cannot be measured, moved, or diminished.
Nothing can separate you from the love of Christ.
Let that truth settle deep within you.
Let it shape your worship, your relationships, and your hope.

Father, thank You for a love that is wide enough to hold the world and personal enough to hold me. Amen.
